RapidMindLabs is a small consulting practice, which means every engineer works directly with clients on real production systems — data models that serve millions of writes a second, upgrades where the rollback plan matters, incidents where the tombstone graph tells the story. There is no bench and no shadowing year: you do the work, with senior peers reviewing it.
We hire people who like the unglamorous parts of distributed databases — compaction math, repair scheduling, driver internals — and who can explain them to a client without condescension. Consulting here is a writing job as much as an engineering job: reviews end in documents, migrations end in runbooks, incidents end in write-ups.
